The Recycle to the Max program is already making a big impact — and we haven’t even officially launched yet!
As part of our soft rollout, fire departments across the region have begun collecting aluminum cans and dropping them off at Kripke Enterprises, our incredible recycling partner. Every can counts — and every dollar raised helps make fire safety more accessible to the families who need it most.

We recently delivered a full bin of cans to Kripke and received $60 to help fund the program’s first wave of materials and outreach efforts. It might seem small, but it's proof that this grassroots effort is working — and it's only just begun.
Even more exciting? Maumee Fire Division emptied their full bin last week and brought in $600! Those funds were immediately put to work — helping us distribute over 50 smoke alarms to local fire departments for free installation in homes that otherwise might go without.
We’re also expanding!
We’re thrilled to announce two new drop-off locations where residents can bring their aluminum cans year-round: Swanton Fire Department and Oregon Fire Department
These new partners make it even easier for community members to take part in this life-saving effort by simply recycling their cans where they live, work, and serve. Thanks to Klumm Brothers for their partnership in the program who supplied the recycling dumpsters!

Save the Date: Kripke Kickoff Coming Soon!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 13th, because we’re getting ready to officially launch Recycle to the Max at Kripke Enterprises! This inaugural kickoff event will include:
Live appearances from local fire departments
Giveaways and family-friendly activities
A major push for aluminum can donations
And a big celebration of what happens when a community comes together for safety.
More details are on the way — but trust us, this is one event you won’t want to miss.
Help Us Keep the Momentum Going
Whether you're an individual, a family, a local business, or a fire department — you can help:
Drop off aluminum cans at Kripke or any participating fire station Make a monetary donation online at safetytothemax.com Spread the word on social media and in your neighborhoods
Together, we’re proving that small actions — like recycling a can — can create big change.
Let’s keep turning cans into care and make fire safety sustainable for everyone.
